Programmable Asset Commitments

Built on Robinhood Chain

Assets should follow rules.

Custodes lets you place digital assets into smart-contract-controlled vaults and define the rules governing when, how, and to whom those assets can be released — multiple assets, multiple beneficiaries, multiple conditions, one onchain commitment.

The Protocol

Programmable vaults, enforced onchain.

A vault is an onchain environment containing assets together with a defined set of rules governing their release. The creator establishes the commitment and deposits the selected assets. The smart contract then enforces the rules — and when the required conditions are satisfied, eligible assets can become available for distribution or claim.

Commitment Model

More than a simple transfer.

A commitment defines the full shape of an arrangement before a single asset moves.

WHAT

Which assets are being committed.

WHO

Which wallet or wallets may receive them.

WHEN

When the assets become eligible.

HOW

How much is released at each stage.

WHY

Which predefined conditions must be satisfied.

Lifecycle

Every commitment follows a defined path.

  1. 01Stage

    Creation

The creator defines the vault parameters and release logic.

  2. 02Stage

    Funding

The selected assets are deposited into the vault.

  3. 03Stage

    Active

The commitment is active and its conditions are being evaluated.

  4. 04Stage

    Eligible

One or more distributions have satisfied their required conditions.

  5. 05Stage

    Claim

The appropriate beneficiary claims the available assets.

  6. 06Stage

    Continuing

If additional conditions or scheduled releases remain, the commitment continues.

  7. 07Final

    Completed

Once all programmed distributions have been fulfilled, the commitment reaches completion.

  8. Full lifecycle

Conditional Logic

Conditions that combine.

A commitment does not have to depend on a single trigger. Requirements can be combined through logical relationships, executed sequentially, or nested into more sophisticated structures.

AND

Every specified condition must be satisfied.

date_reached && milestone_verified

OR

Any one of several conditions can activate a release.

SEQUENTIAL

Conditions can be arranged in a defined sequence.

stage_1 → stage_2 → stage_3

NESTED

Sophisticated commitments can combine different logical structures.

Interactive Demo

Run a commitment yourself.

Configure a commitment, deploy it, advance time, verify milestones, and claim distributions. The simulator evaluates the same condition logic the contract enforces — watch the lifecycle play out exactly as specified.
